Rob Bermudez
Rob is a multimedia producer, audio engineer, podcast host and current MFA student at San Francisco State University in the Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts department. Rob combines his passion for social justice and production with his work and research. Throughout his career, he has interviewed sports broadcasters, beat writers, sports personalities, and athletes, but is excited and looking forward to transitioning his career into the political and teaching arenas. More specifically, he is passionate about researching the intersection of media and politics, and how academia can be used in political and activist spaces to fight for social change. He aims to utilize a Marxist lens in his approach to pedagogy, understanding of mass communication studies, and media ethics. “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.”
